Procedure 7-19: Map TL1 message types to OS applications

- Overview

Use this procedure to map TL1 autonomous message types to an OS type application context ID (ACID). TL1 autonomous messages are not reported unless they are assigned to an OS type. This command allows a user to assign specific TL1 autonomous message types, or none at all.

- Privilege level

You must log in as a Privileged user to complete this procedure.

- Before you begin

Prior to performing this procedure:

  1. Refer to Before you begin and Required equipment in this chapter.

  2. Obtain the work instructions for this procedure, particularly all relevant ACID/OS requirements.

Steps

Complete the following steps to map TL1 message types to the OS.
