Use this procedure to map TL1 autonomous message types to an OS type application context ID (ACID). TL1 autonomous messages are not reported unless they are assigned to an OS type. This command allows a user to assign specific TL1 autonomous message types, or none at all.
Prior to performing this procedure:
Refer to Before you begin and Required equipment in this chapter.
Obtain the work instructions for this procedure and verify that all relevant ACID/OS requirements are specified.
Complete the following steps to map TL1 message types to the OS.

From the System View menu, select Administration → Set TL1 Message Map. Result: The Set TL1 Message Map window opens. |

Important! If an or is the TL1 TCP/IP GNE for the Alcatel-Lucent 1850 TSS-5 or if the Alcatel-Lucent 1850 TSS-5 is the TL1 TCP/IP GNE for an or , then all Message Types for the TL1PEERCOM OS Type must be enabled for the Alcatel-Lucent 1850 TSS-5. From the TL1 Message Type List, select one of the following ACIDs from the OS Application Type column:

For the selected OS type, verify the desired status (ENABLED or DISABLED) for each of the following Message Types:

To change an ENABLED/DISABLED status, double-left-click on the status cell and select the correct status from the drop-down menu. |

Continue from Step 2 until all types have been correctly defined. |

Click OK, read the warning message, then click Yes to execute the command or No to abort the command. End of steps |
