From the Navigation menu, select Service OA&M → Maintenance Domain → Configuration. Result: The Maintenance Domain Configuration window displays. |

Enter the parameters as required. See Table 16-8, Maintenance Domain Configuration parameters. |

Click Submit to modify the existing MD or add new MD. Click Delete to delete the existing MD. End of steps |

MD Name |
A drop-down list containing all existing Maintenance Domain Names plus “Create”. When “Create” is selected, a new MD name is entered in the MD Name entry below. This is to create a new MD name. The default value is “Create”. Uses Step-Retrieve-All-MD-names procedure to acquire all existing MD Names in the system. |

MD Name |
Maintenance Domain Name. A text string with 1 to 43 characters. There is no default value. The MD Name must be unique in the system. If there is any MA associated with the MD, then the MD Name can not be modified. |

Valid values: an integer in the range of 0-7. If there is any MA associated with the MD, then the MD Level can not be modified. |
