Use this procedure to add a remote Maintenance association End Point (MEP) identifier to the list of MEPIDs for a specific Maintenance Association (MA).

From the Navigation menu, select Service OA&M → Maintenance Association End Point → Remote Configuration. Equivalent CLI command: ethoam remote-mep. Result: The Remote Maintenance Association End Point Configuration window displays. |

Enter the parameters as required. See Table 16-7, Remote Maintenance Association End Point Configuration parameters. |

Click Submit to modify the existing MEP or add new MEP. Click Delete to delete an existing MEP. End of steps |

This is a drop-down list containing “Add” plus all Remote MEP IDs for the selected MD/MA. |

For “Add” (see above), this is a editable field. It is the remote MEP ID to be added to the selected MD/MA. Values: an integer ranging from 1 to 8191. There is no default value. The Remote MEP ID must be unique in the MA. It must not already exist. For “Delete”, this field is a display-only field. |
