Configure PW PM mode

Use this procedure to configure the PM State for the Pseudo Wire Segment in the system.


1	Log in to the VLNC42B.
2	From the Navigation menu, select TMPLS → Performance Monitoring → PW PM Mode Configuration. Equivalent TL1 command: `set-tmplspm-pwseg`. Result: The Pseudo Wire PM Mode Configuration screen displays.
3	From the Pseudo Wire Segment drop-down box, select the PW Segment AID (for example, PWSEG- 1-1-{1-250}) being provisioned.
4	Provision the parameters as shown in PW Segment PM mode state parameters then click Submit. End of steps

Pseudo Wire Segment	The Pseudo Wire Segment AID (e.g. PWSEG- 1-1-{1-250}). This is a drop-down list containing all Pseudo Wire Segments in the system.	set-tmplspm-pwseg:AID
PM State	This parameter specifies whether the PM data collection is enabled or disabled for the selected Pseudo Wire Segment. Valid values: ON PM collection for all MONTYPE is enabled, PM counters are reset. Current data and History data are retrievable. OFF PM collection for all MONTYPE is disabled. Current data and History data are retrievable. DISABLED PM collection for all MONTYPE is disabled. Current data and History data are not retrievable.	set-tmplspm-pwseg: pmstate
Time Period	This parameter identifies the accumulation time period for performance monitoring data (1-day or 15-minute collection register). Valid values 15-MIN 1-DAY BOTH (default)	set-tmplspm-pwseg: tmper

PM State

Valid values:

ON

PM collection for all MONTYPE is enabled, PM counters are reset. Current data and History data are retrievable.
OFF

PM collection for all MONTYPE is disabled. Current data and History data are retrievable.
DISABLED

PM collection for all MONTYPE is disabled. Current data and History data are not retrievable.
