Procedure 9-6.3: View/Edit Tunnel configuration

- Overview

Use this procedure to initially display the information for all existing Tunnels/TUSegments and then subsequently select a Tunnel for modification or deletion. For each Tunnel, there is either one TUSegment (in the case of Terminated) or two TUSegments (in the case of Transit/Swap) for the Tunnel.

Use the Web GUI or the rtrv-tmpls-tunnel command to retrieve tunnel configuration.

The tunnel parameters can be modified using the ed-tmpls-tunnel command. This TUSegment is automatically deleted when the TUNNEL is deleted using the dlt-tmpls-tunnel command.

Refer to the Alcatel-Lucent 1850 Transport Service Switch (TSS-5) TL1 Command Guide for T-MPLS, for help on using TLI commands.

Step

1

Login to the VLNC42B.

2

From the Navigation menu, select TMPLS → Tunnel Management → Tunnel Configuration.

Equivalent TLI command: rtrv-tmpls-tunnel.

Result:

The Tunnel Configuration screen displays the information for all existing Tunnels/TUSegments.

3

Select the tunnel AID you want to edit by clicking on the pencil icon (Edit Terminated Tunnel) displayed on the left side of the tunnel.

If you want to delete a tunnel, select the red X icon to the left of the tunnel AID.

Result:

The Modify Terminated Tunnel screen displays.

4

Enter the parameters as required. Click Submit to apply your changes.
