Procedure 9-10.1: Configure tunnel PM mode

Use this procedure to configure the PM State for the Tunnel Segment in the system.

Log in to the VLNC42B.

From the Navigation menu, select TMPLS → Performance Monitoring → Tunnel PM Mode Configuration.

Equivalent TL1 command: set-tmplspm-tuseg.

Result:

The Tunnel PM Mode Configuration screen displays.

From the Tunnel Segment drop-down box, select the Tunnel Segment AID (for example, TUSEG-1-1-{1- 750}) being provisioned.

Provision the parameters as shown in Tunnel PM mode state parameters then click Submit.

Tunnel Segment

The Tunnel Segment AID (e.g. TUSEG-1-1-{1-750}). This is a drop-down list containing all Tunnel Segments in the system.

set-tmplspm-tuseg:AID

PM State

This parameter specifies whether the PM data collection is enabled or disabled for the selected Tunnel Segment.

Valid values:

  • ON

    PM collection for all MONTYPE is enabled, PM counters are reset. Current data and History data are retrievable.

  • OFF

    PM collection for all MONTYPE is disabled. Current data and History data are retrievable.

  • DISABLED

    PM collection for all MONTYPE is disabled. Current data and History data are not retrievable.

set-tmplspm-tuseg: pmstate

Time Period

This parameter identifies the accumulation time period for performance monitoring data (1-day or 15-minute collection register).

Valid values

  • 15-MIN

  • 1-DAY

  • BOTH (default)
