To configure a local user database for subscriber host authentication
Purpose
Perform this procedure to configure a base local user database object on a local DHCP server. Additionally, you may need to configure IpoE hosts ( To configure IPoE hosts on a local user database ) or PPP hosts ( To configure PPP hosts on a local user database ) on the local user database.
Steps

Choose Manage→Residential Subscribers from the NFM-P main menu. The Manage Residential Subscribers form opens. |

Choose Local User Database (Local User DB) and click Search. |

Click Create Local User Database or select an existing local user database entry and click Properties. The Local User Database (Create|Edit) form opens. |

Select a site for the local user database. |

Configure the required parameters. |

Click Apply. |
