Procedure 3-48: Configure the IP address
Use the following procedure to configure the IP address of the DCN Physical interface.

Select Communication -> DCN Phys.
If -> IP Address option. Table 3-36: IP address settings

Description |
MAC ADDRESS |
(Medium Access Control address) - This is the MAC address assigned to the card. Note that this parameter can only be read and cannot be modified. |
IP Address |
(Internet Protocol address) - This is the IP address of the NE. The entry box allows to digit the IP address of the NE. The supported value range is {1-99, 101-126,128-223}- {0-255} - {0-255} - {0-254}. |
Subnet Mask |
The entry box for subnet mask of the network to which the NE is connected. The supported value range is {128-255} - {0-255} - {0-255} - {0-255}. The mask, in binary representation, must contain a contiguous string of 1s (the network portion) and a contiguous string of 0s (the host portion). |

Modify IP address
To modify the IP address:

Modify the IP address and the subnet mask as described in
Table 3-36, IP address settings and click Save to save the IP address.
