What does NSP Flow Collector Controller administration involve?

Description

You may occasionally need to perform one or more of the following on an NSP Flow Collector Controller, which is an ancillary NSP component deployed outside the NSP cluster:

  • Start or stop the component.

  • Display the component status or release level.

  • Open the component web UI for configuration purposes.

  • Force an NFM-P network data extraction.

The following procedures describe how to perform such actions.

Note: The following RHEL CLI prompts in command lines denote the active user, and are not to be included in typed commands:

  • # —root user

  • bash$ —nsp user
