How do I configure an NE TACACS+ authentication policy?

Note: See the appropriate TACACS+ documentation for more information about configuring TACACS+ servers.


1	Choose Administration→Security→NE TACACS+ Authentication from the NFM-P main menu. The NE TACACS+ Authentication form opens.
2	Click Create or choose an entry and click Properties. The Site TACACS+ Policy (Create\|Edit) form opens.
3	Configure the required parameters. The Use Privilege Map parameter is configurable when the Enable Authorization parameter is set to true.
4	Click on the Privilege Level Map tab.
5	Click Create. The Privilege Level Map (Create) form opens.
6	Configure the Privilege Level parameter.
7	Choose a user profile.
8	Click on the Servers tab.
9	Perform the following steps to specify a TACACS+ server. Click Create or choose an entry and click Properties. The Site TACACS+ Server (Create \| Edit) form opens. Configure the required parameters. Save your changes and close the form.
10	Repeat Step 9 to specify an additional TACACS+ server, if required. Note: You can specify up to five TACACS+ servers.
11	Click Apply to save the changes.
12	Distribute the policy to NEs, as required.
13	Close the open forms. End of steps
