Registration

The Client Registration Interface is used by a LWM2M Client to:

Register with a LWM2M server
Maintain registration and de-registration from a LWM2M Server

Device registration with X.509 authentication

When the LWM2M device initiates a LWM2M Register request to IMPACT using DTLS with X.509 authentication, the device checks if the server is valid using Certificate Authority (trusted party). Whereas, IMPACT checks the validity of the device using Enterprise Certificate Authority during a TLS handshake. On successful validation, the device is registered on IMPACT.
