Deleting a workload VPN intent

  1. From the main menu, select Workload VPN Intents.
  2. Use the Region Selector at the top of the page to select the region containing the workload VPN intent.
  3. Find the workload VPN intent from the list, then, click at the end of its row.
  4. Select Delete from the action list and click OK in the confirmation form. `
    The workload moves to the Delete Config In Queue state. This means that the deletion workload has been added to the region's deployment pipeline, but has not yet taken place.
  5. Go to the region's deployment pipeline by clicking on the icon and selecting Deployment Pipeline from the resulting menu.
  6. From the deployment pipeline, deploy the workload.
    If deployment of the workload deletion fails, you can delete it again using the steps above. The failed attempt is reported as follows:
    • The workload intent state is DeployDeleteConfigFailed.
    • The Deployment Pipeline screen reports Error.
    • The Event Log reports the reason for the failure and a message is reported similar to the following:
      Deployment Failed SourceName: 123, Type: WORKLOAD. Rollback Failure: ; 182.58.58.2: Cannot start an exclusive configuration session (there is another exclusive configuration session in progress: session id 1 571 4 username 'admin' candidate name 'default'). Execution Time : O seconds
    • In the Fabric intents view, the Status field for the workload VPN intent for the deletion shows Deployed.
