Use this procedure to establish an end-to-end Alcatel-Lucent 1665 DMX high-speed:
Important!
This procedure assumes that the Alcatel-Lucent 1665 DMX shelves have been equipped with the required circuit packs/pluggable transmission modules, software has been installed, and the shelf has passed the looped transmission tests. If not, refer to Chapter 5, Node turnup procedures.
Prior to performing this procedure:

During initial ring turn up, the default value for the port PJC Monitoring Point parameter may produce constant PM counts. To prevent constant PM counts, provision the port PJC Monitoring Point parameter to an unused tributary. Refer to Procedure 8-5: Provision performance monitoring (PM) settings.
Complete the following steps to establish an end-to-end Alcatel-Lucent 1665 DMX system.
