Before you begin

Important!

The WaveStar^® CIT is required to interface with the VLNC50/52 SONET/SDH Transport and VLNC2 SYSCTL circuit packs.

Prior to performing procedures in this chapter,

1. If required and not previously completed, install the generic and WaveStar^® CIT software on the PC.

   Refer to Procedure 14-1: Install software on the PC.

2. Connect the PC and establish the required session. Refer to Procedure 14-2: Connect personal computer (PC) and establish WaveStar^® CIT session.
