Enable MPLS-TP on the routing instances of all NEs that are to participate in the MPLS-TP network; see To enable MPLS-TP on a routing instance .

Create a BFD template policy; see To configure a BFD template policy .

Configure MPLS-TP on the routing instance; see To configure MPLS-TP on a routing instance .

Perform one of the following, as required:

1. Create a mesh of MPLS-TP LSPs or an MPLS-TP LSR cross-connect path; see To create an MPLS-TP LSP or To create an MPLS-TP LSR cross-connect path .

2. Create a bidirectional MPLS-TP LSP using simplified provisioning; see To create a bidirectional MPLS-TP LSP .

Create a IP/MPLS service tunnel, if required, and enable MPLS-TP; see To create an IP/MPLS service tunnel .

Create a spoke SDP binding using an MPLS-TP service tunnel on the following, if required:

• VLL service; see To configure a spoke SDP binding on a VLL site and To configure a spoke SDP binding with an L2TPv3 tunnel on a VLL Epipe site

• VPLS or MVPLS service; see To create a VPLS or MVPLS spoke SDP binding

• IES; see To create an L2 SDP spoke termination on an IES service

• VPRN service; see To create an L2 SDP spoke termination on a VPRN service

• mirror service; see To create a source site on a mirror service

Configure static MPLS-TP pseudowires on the following, if required:

• VLL service; see To configure an MPLS-TP static pseudowire on a VLL spoke SDP binding

• VPLS service; see To configure an MPLS-TP static pseudowire on a VPLS spoke SDP binding

• IES; see To configure an MPLS-TP static pseudowire on an IES spoke SDP binding

• VPRN service; see To configure an MPLS-TP static pseudowire on a VPRN spoke SDP binding

• mirror service; see To configure an MPLS-TP static pseudowire on a mirror SDP binding

Perform the following OAM diagnostic tests on MPLS-TP objects, if required:

• VCCV ping OAM diagnostic test; see To create and run a VCCV ping OAM diagnostic test from the STM

• VCCV trace OAM diagnostic test; see To create and run a VCCV trace OAM diagnostic from a static PW to a dynamic PW segment from the STM

• MPLS-TP LSP ping OAM diagnostic test; see To create and run a MPLS LSP ping OAM diagnostic test from the STM
