Add, modify, or delete a user feature package

Purpose

This topic describes the steps to add, modify, or delete user feature packages.

User feature packages are subsets of a feature packages and are assigned to users in a group.

Before you begin

To delete a user feature package, the user feature package may not be assigned to any user or group.

User feature package

Task StepsPerform the following steps to add, modify or delete a user feature package:

At the Lucent CM Explorer tree view, navigate to the Call Server folder (Lucent CM System → Services → Call Server) and select the call server you want to modify.

Result:  The parameters for the call server display.

At the Packages section, select the Features tab.

Result:  The Features tab displays, listing the available packages.

Select the Feature Package that contains the features you want to create a user feature package from. Click Edit.

Click the User Feature Pkgs tab at the Feature Packages window:

you want to add a user feature package,

 

  1. Select <New FeaturePackage>

  2. Continue with Step 5.

 

you want to modify a user feature package,

 

  1. Select a user feature package from the list

  2. Continue with Step 6.

 

you want to delete a user feature package,

 

  1. Select a user feature package

  2. Click Delete.

  3. Click Yes at the confirmation dialog box.

Enter a user feature package name.

Optionally, click Description to enter a description for the package.

Use the >> and << button to add or remove features from the user feature package.

Click Add or Update to save the changes.

Result:  The User Feature package list is updated to reflect the changes.
