This topic describes the steps to add, modify, or delete an ISG logging service. Logging services define the location and characteristic of the system where call logs are retrieved or stored for users.
The ISG logging service uses the Lucent MiLife® Intelligent Services Gateway
The ISG logging service parameters:
Status information for the Logging service:
Status |
Description |
CONNECTED |
The connection is operational. |
DISCONNECTED |
The connection cannot be established. |
URL ERROR |
The provisioned URL cannot be parsed. |
HOSTNAME ERROR |
The host name in the provisioned URL cannot be resolved. |
AUTH FAILURE |
The server cannot be accessed with the provisioned user and password values. |
SERVICE FAILURE |
The service is connected, but is not functioning. |
Perform the following steps to add, modify or delete a logging service:

At the Lucent CM Explorer tree view, navigate to the Logging folder (Lucent CM System → Services → Logging). Result: The Log Service List tab displays, listing the available services. | ||||||||

Configure the logging service parameters. | ||||||||

Click Add or Update to save the service. Result: The Logging Services list is updated to reflect the changes. End of steps |
