This topic describes the steps to add, modify, or delete a Lucent CM logging service. Logging services define the location and characteristic of the system where call logs are stored for users. The call logs are stored on the Lucent CM server.
Important! The Lucent CM logging service can only be used in combination with the FS 5000.
The Lucent CM logging service parameters:
Parameter |
Description |
Package ID |
A unique identifier for the logging package. |
Max Number of Logs |
The maximum number of call log entries for a user that are stored on the Lucent CM server. |
Important! All capacity figures are estimates based on typical usage of the Lucent CM system. The actual capacity varies depending on the real use and behavior of users.
The average size of a call log entry is 400 bytes. With a disk size of 24 GB for a D-node or U-node that is available for storage of call logs, a total of 60,000,000 call logs entries can be stored.
With a maximum of 22,500 Lucent CM users on a D-node, the maximum value for Max Number of Logs is 2667.
