Procedure 6-7: Provision new alarm severity assignment profile

- Overview

Use this procedure to provision a new alarm severity assignment profile (ASAP).

To change an existing ASAP, refer to Procedure 6-8: Change existing alarm severity assignment profile.

Important!

The system supports up to 127 user-created ASAPs. (This does not include DEFAULT ASAPs.) Attempts to create more than 127 user-created ASAPs will be denied. To create another ASAP, delete an existing ASAP and then create the new ASAP. To delete an existing ASAP, refer to Procedure 6-9: Delete alarm severity assignment profile.
