Perform the following:

1. Holding the circuit pack vertically, rotate the circuit pack 90 degrees to the right (clockwise). The circuit pack latch should be on your left.

2. Insert the SYSCTL circuit pack into the half-height slot on the lower, right-hand corner of the shelf, applying steady pressure at the right side of the circuit pack and on the faceplate latch

Result:

The SYSCTL circuit pack exhibits the following visible cycles:

1. All LEDs light (CR/MJ, FAULT, MN/ABN, ACO/TST) for approximately 5 seconds.

2. CR/MJ and FAULT LEDs extinguish, the MN/ABN LED lights, and MN/ABN and ACO/TST LEDs remain lighted for approximately 15 seconds, and then extinguish for approximately 5 seconds.

3. MN/ABN and ACO/TST LEDs simultaneously light again for approximately 8 seconds and then extinguish for approximately 5 seconds.

4. CR/MJ LED flashes 11 times. On flashes 3, 4, 7, 8, and 11, the MN/ABN and ACO/TST LEDs simultaneously light while the CR/MJ LED flashes. On flashes 1, 2, 5, 6, 9, and 10, only the CR/MJ LED flashes.

5. CR/MJ LED remains lighted and the MN/ABN and ACO/TST LEDs simultaneously flash slowly (light for two seconds, extinguish for two seconds) indicating that the SYSCTL is factory-fresh.

Install the software generic program in the SYSCTL circuit pack.
